The Management Server hosts all site wide information and controls the whole installation. Updates at the 3D GIS model or the configuration database are automatically distributed from here to all network entities. Furthermore the Management Server is involved in real time operations by analyzing and combining the information delivered from Acquisition Servers and their peripheral devices. During the Debriefing phase the Management Server stores all data created and acts as a centralized repository for reports, first evidence and other kinds of information logging.
User & Group Administration
The user management administration console provides a centralized user management for all applications and can be configured to work with user management data from multiple data sources. It is seamlessly integrated in the Terra 3D Engine and server architecture. It adds business value by enabling you to leverage your existing system infrastructure and eduction of administrative overhead by allowing centralized user and group administration. The "four-eyes principle" priciple for access of any data can be setup. For exchange of user and group rights It support the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
Replication of User and Group Rights
CUM automatically replicates all user and group rights from the management server to the acquisition servers allowing an uninterrupted operation even in the unlikely case if communication between the management- and acquisition servers fail.
Security Settings
You can define a password policy including settings such as minimum and maximum length of passwords, number of failed logons before a user is locked, and so on.
Security Logging
CUM logs important security events, such as successful and failed user logons, and creation or modification of users, groups and roles.
Workflow & Rules
Any incident or system event can trigger a preprogrammed event handler. Operator instructions, multi sensor correlation for alarm verification, automated object tracking and many more options are available to define the appropriate system reaction to a foreseen event.
Beside a simple configurator Terra 3D supports Python, a programming language for advanced users that lets you work more quickly and integrate your systems more effectively in according to the end users requirements.
Dispatch
Any position acquired from video or in the 3D model can be sent as waypoint to Tetra and other mobile devices allowing the owner to navigate by its own to the target position.
Terra 3D interfaces to 3rd party dispatch systems especially designed for 911 (112) emergency call centers. Please contact us for further information.
PTZ Control
The management server coordinates the control of all connected PTZ devices via the connected application server(s).
Object had-over
Based on its “global” view the management server coordinates object hand-overs between sensors and application servers.
