The Acquisition Server handles several kinds of sensors. It manages the configuration of the peripheral devices and controls the device status permanently. The incoming data is analyzed and recorded into the multimedia storage device according to configuration. The optional embedded 3D model allows Geospatial Analysis and provides clear information about position, size and speed of objects also over several sensors. The embedded Video Analytics module uses the 3D Model to provide better results and avoid false alarms.
Geo-Referencing
The geo-referencing engine calculates in real-time for every pixel of a video image it equivalent position (longitudes, latitude and height) in world coordinates. A variety of Fixed and PTZ cameras are supported: see here.
It also geo-references every all other sensor data for example from radars or optical sensors.
Video Analytics
Terra 3D comes offers integrated video analytics including camera tempering detection, motion detection, facial blur (privacy filter) and more. Terra 3D has a interface to advanced video object algorithms from Securiton IPS and a open plugin interface for other 3rdparty products
I/O & GIS Interface
It is a bidirectional communication interface allowing Terra 3D to communicate with additional GIS and other information systems. These data can be shown as various layers in the 3D visualization and as overly in video feeds.
Rules Engine
The Rules Engine is triggered by system events and executes script language programs, describing the system reaction to a event.
You may build these scripts that has the capacity to "reason" using knowledge you supply in the form of declarative rules. It is one of the fastest rule engines available in the market. Its powerful scripting language gives you access to all of Terra 3D’s API functions.
Object Tracker
The object tracker records time and positions of all relevant objects and illustrates them in the 3D model depending on their live time. It provides the ability for live view and time synchronized play back.
NVR
Terra 3D’s integrated H.264 NVR offers superior video quality, advanced compression resulting in significant data rate savings; a network abstraction layer designed for efficient transmission of data.
Multicasting: Allow many users in various locations to view a video feed simultaneously, without overcrowding the network, by using the bandwidth of each network segment only once.
Multistreaming: Configure a camera’s multiple video streams for specific video usage, such as live viewing, remote live viewing, recording, etc., for storage flexibility and bandwidth optimization.
