Call- and Command and Control (C2) -centers need to be sure that they are prepared for the worst when a crisis may occur. No one knows when it happens, but we do know precise situation awareness allows quick and effective response and this can have a significant impact on a station, department, or even country's reputation.

The complexity of joint operations of police and civil defence forces ,especially in the urban combat environment, demands multiple sensing modes for agility and for persistent, ubiquitous coverage.

The terra 3D system implements collaborative control of reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition assets, so that the realtime information can be made available to command and control (C2) and the personnel in the field.

System Capabilities

• Complete situational awareness on the ground and in the air
• “See” officers position and ID in the 3D model and as overlay in video feeds
• Calculate track to target (bearing and distance)
• Identify objects geographical position and send it as waypoint to officers
• Auto zoom all available PTZ cameras on suspect (city surveillance)
• Zoom PTZ cameras on object identified by radar or any other sensor (city surveillance)
• Show aircraft's position, its track and the live stream on virtual wall in 3D model simultaneous at C2 and other fix or mobile sites
• All multimedia, audio and meta data are recorded for later analysis and export

Law Enforcement Modules

Tactical Target Pursuit Assistant (TTPA)
			Based on the 3D position of the helicopter and the relative vector to the ground of the surveillance camera the system calculates the position of the target in real world coordinates. This target coordinates can be sent to tactical navigation systems or to other devices such as Tetra radios for interception on the ground
Tactical Information Video Overlay (TIVO)
			Especially at night and in remote sites guiding the officers on the ground to an identified target is a challenge. Often it is impossible to distinguish between the officers and the suspects based on the video footage. TIVO overlays object information on video and enables the operator to measure distances, bearings and positions in real world coordinates.
Tactical Real Time Visualization (TRTV)
			TRTV offers perfect situation awareness to command and control (C2) illustration multimedia data and the whereabouts of own forces on the ground and in the air. Finding the closest officer to a location seen either in video or in the 3D model by a mouse click and send him the target position as a waypoint to his radio or mobile phone. Dynamic virtual video wall, attached to a moving avatar, shows the live video from the helicopter. The scene can be stopped, played back or replayed. The 3D model shows at any time the video content and the position of the helicopter and the target in relation to the ground.
Tactical Observation & Arrest Platform (TOAP)
			Officers in the field or air and C2 can create a snapshot of an individual and distribute it to the arrest teams including its last known position. The application supports Tetra radios but also the IPhone and other mobile phones for undercover operations. Whenever an image is sent out an SDS message can be sent to the tetra radio or an SMS to an iphone,... It also allows to visualize the position of colleagues in relation to own position.
